PROPERTY :Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has won new management contracts for two luxury resort condominium and villa developments in Phuket - the Crystal Lane Condominium on Bangtao Beach and the Kamala Beach Estate on Kamala beach.
The property company has also signed a letter of intent with the developers of the Malaiwana estate on Naithon Beach.
Suphin Mechuchep, the company's managing director, said the growth of luxury residential development projects in Phuket had spurred demand for professional estate management.
She said some investors sought income from their properties when they are not in use by putting them up for rent, so the quality of property management would be a key factor in enhancing the competitiveness of the property.

BANKING :Citi Thailand has been named best foreign commercial bank in Thailand by FinanceAsia magazine.
The award complements the bank's other awards this year, including best corporate/institutional internet bank and best consumer internet bank by Global Finance, best foreign cash management bank in Thailand by Asiamoney and best international trade bank by Trade Finance.
